Finally watched the Palia gameplay stuff. It has customizable housing so I'm sold. No matter what else is in the game that's pretty much what I'll be doing 😂.

    @scopique mannnnnnn it's craziness. I'm trying to come up with an analogy but I just can't cause it's just plain crazy to me. Unless there is no mention of Meta when you download it but that can't be possible.

    Thinking about my guild in and honestly just guilds in general. I tried really hard with my GW2 guild, we were small and honestly there isn't much support for a small guild, but I tried anyways.

    I'll never forget a comment someone made that really annoyed the shit outta me. It was something along the lines of "well I'd play if the guild did things." It was such a slap in the face because I organized things all the time but if players don't show up how is that on me.

    Your guild leader and officers are not your fucking cruise director. It's not their job to constantly have stuff for you to do. If you aren't putting in the effort to show up then how dare you ask them to constantly put in the effort to have stuff to do.

    That really turned me off guild leadership.

    Welp that's my random thought of the day.

    @belghast @heyitsliore it's kind of interesting to me how there is little to no improvement in the guild system in a lot of MMOs when guilds are the back bone of any MMO community. There has been no innovation at all when it comes to guilds. Especially small ones.

    @belghast @heyitsliore exactly! A good guild is so much more than that. There should be robust in game tools for guild recruitment and scheduling of guild content just to name a few. Guild leadership should not have to set up whole other systems to get people engaged.

    And I've always been disappointed by guild missions in GW2 cause they favored large guilds.

    I could go on but you know what I'm saying lol.

    Short term goal completed: We have a soap trade!

    Watching the let's play on and I found out you can change productivity if your citizens are happy enough! 😮 So with that I just upped the production of soap so we can get things moving along. That will help us with our income and allow me to get this situated so I can move to Artisans.

    New short term goal: Fix my production lines. So I can have passive trade from my harbor.

    @scopique at the very least the content is always relevant and the story stuff outside of a few instances is soloable. I also like that they have that story UI built in so you can always read where you left off.

    @scopique I'm wondering how much replayability it will have. For instance, how much do your choices affect the final outcome. Or if there are even multiple endings.

    Just picked up . Super excited to play. I've been on a huge Star Trek kick lately with the wrap of Picard. Looks like it's a story driven, your choices matter, type game and I love those. fingers crossed it's good.
