Principia is now available on #fdroid ! It has been in the pipeline for a while but I woke up today to see that their build of 2024.02.29 had finally been pushed to the repository. You can find it here:

Since a while back, most of the Principia source repositories are now mirrored onto #codeberg under the Principia organisation:

While they are read-only at the moment and Github is still the canonical source, it should be possible to open pull requests from the Codeberg side to contribute sometime in the future and have it reflect in the other direction.

As a follow-up to the post a couple days ago, the Matrix space for Principia has now been closed.

I thought it was a good idea at first but it didn't really end up working out in the end. Most of it was due to the unstable bridge service I chose but it's too heavy to reasonably host one myself.

I asked about whether the Matrix space should be kept and the only response was an apathetic "why do you care, discord is already enough", so that is that I guess, the unfortunate reality of things.

Principia originally started its life as a proprietary mobile game in 2013. Now it is an open source project, developed by an enthusiastic community that formed around the game.
