I'll make this real easy to understand: "Authority figures" are in a position to selectively enforce the written rules (they do not apply to people they like), and they are in a position to use the rules as a weapon against people they do not like. They are also in a position to create new ad-hoc rules under any sort of "disorderly conduct" charge IRL and "disrespected the mods" charge online.

This destroys what people with ASDs need the most: Predictability. We don't like rules so much as we like specifications.

There are basically two reasons I haven't roped yet.

  1. nobody else will preserve Ekko's original lore and design
  2. too many people would be happy I died

Arcane was never supposed to be canon, so that the writers were free to better fit everything to the format of a television show. This meant an alt universe where Arcane's "Ekko" has hoverboards (conflicting with the Chronobreak comic) and is an orphan (conflicting with literally every other piece of his lore, and Zeri's).

It has also been explained to me that Riot has had massive turnover, owing to, among other things, a forced return to office after covid, meaning almost none of the original creative, narrative, and writing teams are still around from the 2010s. This is why I reject the new material and "version pin" to the proper lore.

I'm afraid to play right now because I don't want to lose all of that progress. I keep a separate computer for League and don't run anything on it that's not League but I've heard way too many horror stories about false bans even on clean equipment.

Yes. Combinations of apps also get saved to this screen, so if you have chrome next to notes or whatever, that combination gets saved to the recents view.

I'm torn between waiting for the next iPad mini or getting the iPad air that just got announced. I gave my iPad Pro (2018) to a family member because I never used it, but now I want something to keep runbooks and sign-off sheets on for field work
