I hope I am not a tech wallah but limpid in speech indicating my yen for felicitous gadgets which may result in my degringolade.

So just downloaded the v2.0 update for Cyberpunk 2077 on my eight year old machine. For the most part my current test level 50 character is working, got a two star NCPD event, been flatlined four times and finally, my PC crashed once.

Pour one out for my PC my chooms as I think it’s reached the end of the line.

On the bright side I will be a patientgamer as I build up funds for my next PC. Time to turn my old machine into a NAS.

I appreciate all the wild life flying, crawling, walking, running and just enjoying the sun.

The audible version is also recommended. Mad props to all the folks who made the audio book.

Finished Yellowface then followed up with The Curse of the Marquis de Sade. Getting my dose of the book publishing community and trading.

The growth of this community continues to amaze me. We’ve made this the premier Space-related sub on Lemmy and continue to bring in new user’s at a huge pace. There’s a continued increase in user contribution as well and it’s great seeing the different celestial objects or image types that different users prefer....

Thanks for the invitation to post. I barely post before but lemmy really encourages you to talk to other lemmings!

Simple job or well paid career?

I have two options now. Working in a simple not well paid job i am trained in or continue working in IT. I would leave coding and switching to Helpdesk in IT since I burned out as a programmer. I believe the tech industry propaganda brought me to programming so I left the simple job I'm thinking going back to again.

I concur. It's not worth it to burn out. Keep up your programming chops on the side and it you want to come back, you have a repo to show future employers.

I don't think it has ever changed for me. I may sure to grab 2 - 3 books everytime I drop by the library. I try to finish them in three weeks and the cycle continues.

Great bonsai! Just can't do that at my house due to the kids.

I just check my story graph and it says: "Mainly reads fiction books that are adventurous, mysterious, and dark."

I thought it was mostly sci-fi or fantasy but I guess there are more genres in my read list.

Whenever I see this performance I have to finish watching it. This is one of those forever songs for me.

Whenever someone asks me to review something and I don't want to just move on, I just add a comment about adding more comments to the code or ask why a var was named that way.
