On the hip hop side, they’re growing in popularity but could be bigger: Coast Contra

One of the modern rap/hip hop groups that really holds up, and they’re consistent with the quality

I haven’t heard of some of them.

The Bear season 2 was good, especially the Richie and family dinner episodes. Reservation Dogs had an excellent last season. I recommend both if you haven’t seen them.

Beef was pretty good too, and it is worth a watch. I loved some characters a lot, but some of the writing was odd.

I would add Pantheon to the list. I learned about it from a Lemmy thread and it was one of my favorite shows this year

I recently finished The Last of Us 2. My girlfriend sometimes watches me play my games. And while I thought that TLoU would be a great game to follow, it was hard for her to watch (due to the violence). I wonder if there is a game that would be easy or even interesting for her to watch while I play, without it having to be...

Fair enough! I’m enjoying learning about the hardware stuff, so I was excited to watch HCS. I guess it’s a hard course, which is where the mild worry came from 😄 I’ll get started on watching it!

I loved Silicon Valley, and I might give it a rewatch sometime to catch all the jokes I didn’t quite understand
