@janl I’m exactly for the OLED screens as the blooming on the Pro Display is so bad it conflicts with my eye disease, causing motion sickness as my eyes try to focus on something not out of focus.

It’s funny that YouTube for iOS et fam refused to implement the OS-provided Handoff functionality but instead implemented a much buggier, less good “continue watching” functionality that doesn’t even match timestamps.

I think Crunchyroll is the media player for iOS with the best Handoff support. Just opens the exact same video on the same timestamp and uses the app’s icon (vs a Safari icon as some other media players do). https://developer.apple.com/handoff/

I am absolutely terrified of my boss. A few days after I had my wrist surgery, he threatened to have me shot (via a welfare check) if I didn’t respond to his email. An email I didn’t know about because my wrist was broken!!

I’ve been in a deep, disabling depression since.

@ivory mostly that. There’s no progress bar on iOS upload and when I was posting from Photos it always failed. But images did not. Dunno how long to wait.

@ivory @christianselig When I go to post cat videos/multiple photos from Photos to Ivory, I get a compose sheet, then send and it seems like nothing happens. Even if I go straight to ivory, no acknowledgment I even sent them.

And the internet is made for cat videos!

Safari on Mac has become very slow to auto-complete URLs, and I think it correlates with the Sonoma 14.3 update. Anybody else witnessing the same?

@danielpunkass it’s been 5 days, but was this when autocomplete included search engine results? (As in, would the same delay occur both in private browsing and non-private browsing for the same search terms?)
