@gray17 🦊 the issue with that is the way the gel is put on the playfield. it's essentially just a bunch of tiles in a tilemap, so it can't move around dynamically like objects can
@gray17 🦊 I'm getting what you're saying now, which is like, a keyboard and mouse game. we make our games with both kbam and gamepad in mind, so this wouldn't work

I'm using Animal Crossing: New Leaf's "talk to random strangers online" feature and everyone is so open about talking about Pretendo and custom firmware and everything.

I just remembered that Chicken Wiggle for 3DS has a whole bunch of user-created levels, and I'm not 100% confident anyone else would have preserved them yet given that it's an obscure game.
Chances are the game probably relies on the developers' own servers instead of Nintendo's since there's a game-specific online ID, but I also wouldn't assume those are going to be around forever either.
I guess if I want to help with this I'll have to attempt to reverse engineer how levels are downloaded, and packet sniffing stuff is not something I have any experience with.

Hello again Chitter! It's me, Roxy. I'm a game developer, and I'd make a longer introduction, but I feel like a lot of people on this instance already know me (even if they don't realize it, I drew this gift art of this raccoon here years ago)
This is my 7th and final Mastodon instance. I moved from some because I didn't like them, and some of them are just no longer online. My prior instances are still online, but honestly, I've been really, really dissatisfied with my Mastodon experience lately. Most of my friends have left the fediverse, and so now whenever I post something I just get a load of reply guys. It's not fun, and it hasn't been for a while
I'm hoping that my move to Chitter helps me with this, and I start getting cool replies and being able to feel like I can hang out more again. If even moving to Chitter doesn't help, then I'll likely just leave Mastodon behind. So, here's hoping!
