I'm told is a thing here so here's a video of a new stage I'm working on, as well as a debug view of how the foreground is loaded into the game

cosmogelica is becoming a delicate balance of "listening intently to input from shmup fans because I don't play shmups and somehow accidentally found myself making one" and "ignoring the suggestion to make every pixel on the screen into a bullet"

I wanna note that I'm not saying this disparagingly, I'm working towards making a cool game that I think you guys will enjoy when it's demo time soon. I just also know that the shield cat fans want their spinning otter lmao

Apparently there's people who get upset if you can find Amiibo-unlocked content by playing the game normally, saying that it devalues their amiibo and that they should be exclusive, and it's been a bit since I heard such a privileged take

Also, I don't collect the amiibo because I don't need little figurines around the house and can't afford em anyways

Anyways, "work hard to get an item or spend money to get it now" is literally how pretty much every mobile game works, so hardcore amiibo collectors can get over themselves

I haven't really drawn this month because I was super stressed out, but things are okay-ish for the moment so I should probably fix that

I did make some progress on one commission, so that's something, but I need to do more

figured out that it's entirely possible to tell my game "forget all that game crap, you're now a debug editor" and it said "ok" and when I said "ok, go back to being a game again" it did without crashing

I can't share the post from twitter here but, my game The Spirit and the Mouse will be out on PS4-PS5 on July 20th!!
It will also be released in Japan on Switch/PS4/PS5!!

So so happy! We did the port ourselves and it was really a fun thing to learn 🐁 very glad we could do this!!
