I open my Windows™️ laptop with its Copilot©️ button
As the computer wakes from sleep I accidentally hit the Copilot©️ button
The whole computer freezes up as it tries again and again to contact the Copilot©️ API servers.
There is no answer, because the servers were shut down years ago during the 2025 recession.
I have tried to rebind the key, but the only solution is to upgrade to windows 13 which this hardware doesn't support
Finally the laptop unfreezes, a dialog option appears "Copilot.exe has stopped working. Windows can check online for a solution to the problem"
I roll my eyes and hastily click "close the program" before I realize I have forgotten why I opened the laptop.
