sometimes I think it would be nice to not have diode zone be a physical machine that I have to house and feed, but the options for paying someone else to house and feed a server seem mostly bad. buying "cloud"-grade stuff might do but I'm seriously trying not to participate in cloud computing. buying rack space might do, but I'll be paying more for the convenience of not having disks in my kitchen.
