Agreed. They cram so much caching shit into our ram. It’s crazy these days! 8GB Of RAM Is Not Comparable To 16GB Of RAM On M3 MacBook Pro As Real-World Tests Put Apple's Performance Claims To Shame https://wccftech.com/m3-macbook-with-8gb-ram-real-world-test/

Looks to me that betterbird, must remember that name! 115.4 has addressed the major fuckeries with Thunderbird 115. Only 3 tabs to the inbox, seems a lot of the lag I was experiencing has also been delt with, way more livable.

Advertising is ridiculous now. Can’t live without at least DNS level blocking. It’s sad. Had voice over move around randomly on a 9 to 5 Mac article. Went away as soon as I turned on blocking. Quite sad. Didn’t even see what the ad was, was just inconvenienced by whatever it was. Like I said, sad.

Somebody gifted me telegram premium for a year, but I don’t even know if this will make me install official telegram. They need to fix some of the accessibility things people have been yelling at them about for years. I mean so many well written bug reports, and nothing!

Has Pokémon access released a new version of the build he posted in the audio games thread. I have this version that works pretty seamlessly with all of the hacks that I’ve tried with it. It’s pretty awesome. Just wish there was an accessible way that I could trade and battle with people. Pretty bored with single player Pokémon.

I've heard phone calls over this. It worked pretty well, some were even lossless, once they went digital. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tNBCRIR_Kcw

Maybe they never went lossless after all. All the ones I have experience with did not! send a lossless signal out. It colored the signal how the maker wanted, somewhat to cover up the analogue sound. Also I can't find a lossless one on the internet, so better to accept I am wrong.

Tried to log into wordpress, with activity pub plugin+mastodon apps plugin, which is supposed to let you log in with Mastodon compatible apps, but after pressing authorize I didn't get the code. I asume this is a problem on the plugin side since the login shows up as completed in the plugin, but thought I'd write a post about this just in case people who work on Tweesecake might fix this on their end somehow.

I go back and forth, and back and forth on whether the Mac platform is good enough. Issues like this make it a toy.

If you haven’t tried the iPhone app Speech Central now is probably a good time. They just got a voice dream reader import feature.

Using thunderbird daily now as my default. I used https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/nightly/latest-comm-central/thunderbird-124.0a1.en-US.win64.installer.exe it is working great. You can now hide all the interface elements that slow things down now. I think 124 version fixes everything for me.

Every time I think about the ticktock ban I'm reminded of the theory that went around years ago that the NFB stopped Microsoft from adding a screen reader into Vista. Work got started on it, and the NFB partnering with the big AT venders made MS remove it. I wonder if the social credit connection theory is another one of those? Something that's hard to proove.

It just needs Lua Support, and net play! I’m glad something like this is available officially, because having only free to play on iPhone is annoying! https://apps.apple.com/ca/app/igba-gba-gbc-retro-emulator/id6482993626

Atlas OS playbook got an update, so I did a format where I removed Windows defender from the ISO. Fucking premium experience like, no issues whatsoever. It was so nice except for of course, working around aim wizard Beta accessibility quirks.

To remove defender from an ISO, download this repository, and run the powershell. It has an GUI you just have to run it and select iso and output folder. https://github.com/zoicware/StripWindowsDefender
