all day today in casual conversations with people, I referred to my partner as a she. it was liberating and terrifying. every time, I couldn't help but observe people's reactions.
I didn't avoid pronouns and feminine forms (it's extra difficult in Polish because ummm grammar). it went well.

@reginasbread It’s pretty common here too. Often the same women who have the one gay male friend in their circle completely detest befriending lesbians too in my experience. As if, they’re ‘worried’ lesbians would catch feelings for them despite the lesbian knowing they’re straight (just b/c you might be attractive, doesn’t mean I’ll stupidly want anything more than friendship with you).
