Nach der Böhmermann Sendung von Freitag ist die Aktie von Eventim um 9% gestürzt. Zuerst dachte ich, es wäre illegal für das Team bei ZDF, wenn sie die Aktie vor der Veröffentlichung der Sendung shorten würden....
Feddit.de scheint ja ganz schön mit der Last zu kämpfen zu haben. Ich habe selbst einen Server, der kaum was macht. Kann ich damit irgendwie zu feddit.de beitragen oder könnte ich nur eine eigene Lemmy-Instanz hosten?

Can you elaborate? I have the impression, that we need to think more deeply about how the donations should be distributed. E.g. a users fund are donated proportional to their subscribed Communities? I think it's difficult, as people's time spent on a community doesn't necessarily mean it's proportionally valuable. I've had a few subreddits which I used rarely but we're quite important to me.

Ich finde es toll, daass fie federated Alternativen nun wirklich mehrheitsfähig werden. Sowas war mir zwar schon seit vielen Jahren klar, aber wenn die Mehrheit die Risiken hinter Plattformen in Firmenbesitz nicht kennen oder ignorieren, dann konnte man lange nichts tun. Da Reddit nun komplett besoffen geworden ist, können wir endlich eine schönere Welt haben 😊
