And push their values to impressionable children while they’re at it.

The Soviet Union was – claimed to be – communist. That is not the case for Russia.

Much like China now has incorporated many capitalist systems.

Because any competition exists means anticompetitive behaviour doesn’t exist… Right?

It may summarise Wikipedia articles in your search results, though you can turn that off.

Turn that link into an embed with ![description](link) (the exclamation mark makes it an embed, rather than a hyperlink. The description isn’t technically necessary).

I made an autohotkey ctrl+shift+v script, no need to worry about which apps do and don’t support it.

Yeah… Germany has so much renewable energy they’re bringing coal plants back online.

Good guy Norway on the renewables though. Definitely not one of the largest crude oil exporters either.

That said, I do like the idea of converting excess energy to hydrogen. If only there was an energy source that wouldn’t cause global warming, would be a great base load next to more fickle renewables, and which could be diverted to generating hydrogen when demand for energy is low.

It’s because they have to pause in one more dimension!

Steel can very much crack.

Though it depends, is more unusual than ceramic cracking, and probably wouldn’t make this pattern.

It hadn’t been made a clear requirement at that stage

What is this business strategy called?

Not being publicly/private equity owned

Evidently it was not clear enough.

Or Valve didn’t check every last little detail and expected the publisher to take care of it, until it became a big controversy.

– assuming it is, in fact, Valve who is behind this change and not Sony themselves.

tb_,
@tb_@lemmy.world avatar

That would require Valve to be the reason behind this change, and reading every description for every game is something I doubt they do.

Clearly this is the responsibility of the publisher.

This graph was made from geotagged tweets.

Presumably that’s why the flags are so popular as well, I doubt Belgians are sending Belgian flags to one another in the DM’s. Or maybe they do, I wouldn’t know.

Ah, carry on then. The highest valued company who just bought the biggest third party publisher isn’t anything to worry about because their Xbox is doing somewhat poorly.

Even so it might get you a few more years out of your phone

What browser do you use, and does your PC itself use that calendar?

tb_,
@tb_@lemmy.world avatar

For personal use I see little issue with it. If you, however, start publishing them, suppressing other voices and/or making money off of it, it becomes less clear.

tb_,
@tb_@lemmy.world avatar

That’s probably due to optimization rather than graphics alone.

tb_,
@tb_@lemmy.world avatar

I keep avoiding RPS links for that reason.

Oh, you want to withdraw consent? Have fun disabling them separately for each individual partner.

This video by TechAltar is great and goes into why Bing/Google are often the backend for alternative search engines, such as DDG (Bing), Ecosia (Bing), and Startpage (Google).

The TPM is a feature of the motherboard, not the CPU (generally).

You can even get separate TPM modules to plug into your MoBo, if I’m not mistaken.
