I tried to reverse-engineer my scrambled footnotes in Obsidian and what I've learned is that when it "reindexes" the footnotes, it's literally separating pieces of each note and scrambling them into other notes, so like the article title for note #1 is now combined with the publication name from note maybe , the date from noete , and a content warning from somewhere else. (I was using the main footnote plugin and Linter, nothing fancy.)

I…have never seen anything quite like this!

@kissane @maya for me sometimes I get annoyed or unnerved enough to just want to unfollow, friends get an extra cushion (and that’s where I use the disable boosts by account the most if I had to guess!)

I’ve tried the “friendship” feed that says it does that, but it’s not very satisfying for some reason I can’t place
