@macrumors … I’ll be devil’s advocate here, but wasn’t the cable that came with the latest iPhone USB-C already? (With the other end being Lightning) Since 2020 I think?
Also, just making sure people are aware can prevent an unnecessary commute back to the store just for a charger.
(We know you can get WAY cheaper USB-C charger on Amazon, but the majority of people don’t know that 😅)
All and all.. I can fault Apple for a lot, but that one is grasping at straws.
@macrumors not a big loss. I’ve always found it a bit weird and clunky to send a tweet or a comment to get actual support. I prefer by far a simple way to chat in a dedicated app.
@macrumors on password sharing, Netflix took the gamble and it payed out in spades. Instead of saying “I’m out”, people just took it and bought additional accounts.
We can expect to see it across all platforms very soon.
