I think Valve needs to make it clearer for games on Steam that require an external account. Re: Helldivers 2.

Yeah it was on store page since release saying so, i mentioned that before, but only if you scroll down to see it.

Valve should explicitly note it on checkout too.

That way it really couldn’t be missed. Put it above the price info, right at the top of the actual checkout page.

Then if someone ignored it…it’s on them?

Not perfect but still better than just being in the Steam sidebar.

@graphito "just hire someone" is not really a valid thing here though for smaller sites, the article framing was poor given how heavy their site is but the issue behind it does exist
