I don't wish for a thin laptop.

What I want is a LIGHT laptop.

It seems most offerings out there don't understand the subtle difference and companies have dedicated everything to the thin part instead.

Sometimes I burst out laughing at such insane takes in some online platforms when someone comments totally crazy bullshit 🤣. Today's take:

"IMO static types/compile-time type-checking end up having negligible impact on productivity."

When people have no idea what they're saying it becomes extremely funny.

I find extremely confusing the whole dbus service & object & interface thing, it makes no sense at all in my dumb head. But it is what it is.

Seems a nice post about .

Holy cow, me as usual struggling with no space at my home partition and now that I was looking at a bunch of small experiments with , each folder / project takes between 1.1 up to 1.4 GiB just for each opam switch.

That's a freaking crazy amount of space.

I was checking thinking it was a problem with recent experiments with rust, which also takes a lot of space, but much less compared to ocaml.

You know what, don't try to define an implicit conversion from String to List[Char] in .

I leave this advice to the world.
Keep your sanity.
I've warned you 😮‍💨.

given Conversion[String, List[Char]] = _.toList

I was looking at the errors for a few minutes wondering why the fuck 😅

vascorsd,

Was trying to use it to not have to write a bunch of "sss".toList in a bunch of tests as inputs to functions. But oh well 🫠🫣

** Quanto maior o rendimento, maior a borla fiscal! **

Going Dark: The war on encryption is on the rise. Through a shady collaboration between the US and the EU.

@vascorsd@mastodon.social avatar

@mullvadnet it's always fun that the ones working more against privacy and end to end encryption are the ones truly scared of their names being known associated to it and have all these secret meetings. Let's give them a glass house and video them all 24/7 and make all their communications public for scrutiny like they so desire for others. They can be the beta testers.

After all, they for sure got nothing to hide right? 🙃
