warm,

The PC community has slowly shifted towards buying/preordering 'full price' games and succumbing to micro(macro)transactions in the same way console markets do. But I don't think buying a whole other device is on the menu for most.

warm, (edited )

You are correct there, but I felt the PC community was a lot more patient and less willing to pay large amounts for games. They did however spend in their own games, MMO subscriptions, DLCs etc. It's more the initial cost of games that we were more likely to object, but MTX has always been a problem since it's introduction. League is selling a $500 dollar skin, the fact people don't quit over things like that existing just shows how much we have succumbed.

I feel console generally buys whatever latest thing is marketed to them and they play that. PC generally tries the new thing then slowly they return to their comfort games they have been playing for 10 years.

warm,

Absolutely and yeah Nintendo are the worst for games, ridiculous how they release old games at the same price as the new ones.

warm,

Is it even possible to get around USA without cars? There's not even proper paths everywhere for pedestrians.

warm,

These are proper subs they would use, not like the hacked together Titan sub. Also, wishing death on people? Really?

warm,

I can despise a class of people without wishing death on them, that's just pathetic honestly.

warm,

They don't have to exclusive of each other.

warm,

Ironic

warm,

Because that's just inhuman, regardless of capitalistic failures.

warm,

Hah. Fair enough

warm,

Why can a felon run for president?

warm,

Isn't there a bigger problem than who can run for president at that point?

warm,

The Pixel is one of the most distinct looking phones anyway, kind of hard to hide it. The text on the case is disgusting though.

warm,

Not safe enough? Well why don't you ban the big oversized killing machine pick up trucks then that make the roads unsafe? Such a backwards policy.

warm,

I suppose they would only find out when the account is still in use after 130 years.

Or if they cared to check payment details and such.

warm,

Consoles have always been cancer for walled gardens and anti-consumerism, so it's just expected unfortunately. Would be great for VR in general if all the hardware was platform agnostic. I'll never personally recommend Meta hardware, due to the aforementioned practice, but they are the only ones still pumping money into it. Guess we will see what happens when Valve's next headset is released.

warm,

Walled garden issue. Facebook essentially bought out a bunch of shit Epic Games style for exclusivity for their store. They also take a loss on the Quest devices and people buy them because they are cheaper. They fucked VR, it should have all been cross-compatible from the get go.

warm, (edited )

Woo proprietary bs!

Basically, we could give you these features, but we still want to sell you a console.

warm,

5 is simpler, but still with a lot of depth and a high skill ceiling. 6 just added more systems without much rhyme or reason. That's what I felt anyway, I also massively preferred 5's art style.

warm,

There's a big canvas there, I'd certainly try to fill it, I have nothing better to do if I'm stranded anyway and bigger the better for this.

warm, (edited )

I'd probably have made it a lot bigger myself, but I'm glad it worked out for them!

warm,

This will be a really cool addition to Steamworks, strange it wasn't made earlier, but late is better than never.
