warmaster,

Can’t wait to turn my Nvidia rig into a Steam console with Bazzite.

warmaster,

Kernel Level Sony Data Breach in 3,2,1…

warmaster, (edited )

Arch gets faster driver updates, KDE is faster at developing Wayland protocol implementations.

Edit: Valve gets their desired stability by turning Arch into a point release distro through image based releases. And, the system is practically unbrickable since it’s immutable. So, in summary it’s the best of both rolling release and point release models. By best, I mean for gaming.

warmaster,
  1. woke
  2. Just bad
  3. forgettable
  4. haven’t seen it
  5. shovelware

I hope they get their memo, they are doing bad movies.

warmaster,

Pardon me if I’m using a derogatory term in an incorrect way, english is not my 1st language. With Woke, I wanted to convey the message of Disney shoehorning girl power in a forceful or artificial way. In contrast to for example all Alien movies where it works perfectly. I don’t mean that women should not be protagonists at all. Sorry if that’s how my post reads like. Maybe I should have worded it better.

warmaster,

THIS!

Insincerely showing support for some values just for the money.

This is what I wanted to say. Almost everything Disney does is fake, and it shows.

Thank you, I was feeling weird thinking… “Why does this community think The Marvels is not fake? Am I wrong?”

warmaster,

It’s true. Here’s a copy of their research paper:

Sure, here’s what your research paper could look like:

Title: Unveiling a Novel Force: Propelling Beyond Gravitational Constraints

Abstract: This paper investigates a newly hypothesized force that enables propellant-less drives to defy gravity. Examining experimental anomalies and theoretical speculations, it explores potential mechanisms and applications, signaling a transformative leap in space exploration and transportation technology.

But as an AI model, I don’t know shit and come up with bullshit out of my synthetic ass.

warmaster,

I wish this game proves me wrong. But there’s no way this isn’t a blatant cash grab worse than FC24.

warmaster,

True, also: from what I understand, Korea has been historically worse.

warmaster, (edited )

Hey! Sorry for the offtopic comment but… Glad you made it to Lemmy, and from the bottom of my heart: thank you so much for OpenRGB.

Awesome collab with KDE, Tuxedo, looking forward to the kernel implementation !

warmaster,

He’s the lead dev, his profile pic is the OpenRGB logo and his nickname is the same across social networks.

warmaster, (edited )

Holy shit, same thing here. That shady link is in fact on their page, it doesn’t come from your phone.

Edit, here it is, line 22:

warmaster,

If Valve can’t do something that will push their business and the whole industry forward, they’ll just do some other thing that will.

Doing sequels after sequels will only stagnate the franchise, making Valve lose time. For that, they rely on publishers like Activision, EA, and Ubisoft among others.

Edit: Why should I trust an anonymous source?

Explanation to my doubt:

In computer science, wouldn’t that be like proprietary software only being auditable by cherry picked 3rd parties? In this case I should also need to trust the auditor.

In contrast, in FOSS software, all code is open to the public and can be audited publicly.

Edit2: I value privacy, that’s why I use Linux and Librewolf. I just don’t understand how that translate to this case.

As I now understand how my original post was conveying a different message from what I intended to ask, I copy it below:

Would you trust an anonymous source ?

Downvotes to an honest question. I should take a break from internet.

warmaster,

Honest question, my ass! It was obviously a rhetorical question meant to imply that anonymous sources are inherently not trustworthy

This made me realize the message I was transmitting. I edited my post in hope I can better express my question. Sorry for writing like a moron.

warmaster, (edited )

Downvotes take content to the bottom, diminishing it’s relevancy. It’s not egotistical. I had a question that I wanted to ask in order to learn. Later I learned that my question was conveying the wrong message, so I edited my post to better communicate my doubt. You may interpret that internet points equal ego points, but they are in fact relevancy points. In this case in particular, asking about anonimity and trust, is as on-topic as it can get, so I do question the reason for less relevancy to my question now. But I acknowledge the reason for less relevancy in my original post, as it was being interpreted as I wasn’t asking a question but conveying an opinion.

Edit: healthy discussion is what Lemmy is all about. Downvoting an honest question is hindering that principle.

warmaster,

TLDR: Sorry, we love you, we are doing good things now.

warmaster,

Close to being an option for a subset of users. But the design is hindered by the mix between skeuomorphism and neomorphism. Pick one and stick to that to give your design a more cohesive look.

warmaster,

OK, but you remove all gun safety mechanisms. If you shoot yourselves in the balls, we encrypt everything back.

warmaster,

I freaking love it !!

Beautiful, dead simple, compatible with selfhosted servers.

I only wish it could zoom images.

Bazzite is amazing, but now I think my GPU died and idk wtf I’m gonna do. RIP RX 7900 XTX 😭
