I actually find it f*cking incredible how anyone in my school who plans to work in summer got their job offer "through a friend"
Like, is the work market nonexistent at this point?

its hard to find a summer job normaly because no one wants to hire and train an employee for him to work only 2 months its much easier to find it through a friend or a family member
@firvex@witix can confirm, tried to last year but no one wants to hire a 15yr old, if only i knew that someone I knew had connections to the job I wanted then, I think the same thing is happening now cuz I applied for a severely understaffed place but they still won't call me back, if you have connections(which are pr easy to find if you look they're everywhere), use them.
