@worthlessbums My father was a doctor and once trained with a team of firefighters. They were still recovering from the death of one of their people: fighting an oil tank fire. Tank was surrounded by a paraffin moat so that if oil spilled it would sink under the paraffin (which is easier to clean up). Bridge over the moat. Chummy thought "too slow, I'll jump across". Slipped, fell in, human body can't stay afloat even without all the gear, drowned.
