I don't think it is correct to say that Tagalog is based off Malay. This implies that without Malay, Tagalog would not exist. It is more correct to say Malay and Tagalog are related languages, and are probably based off a common language.
I kinda hope to get an account on the waitlist of alpha.polymaths.social, but polyglot.city seems nice enough. I am in no way either a polymath nor a polyglot (well unless you count Filipino and English and class-smart French) but they seem best suited to my interests.

@writeblankspace dang, last test I did was the day after our first snow day, but also that test was before our second snow day. So that means last week we had school Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Bc Wednesday was a snow day, and so was Friday.

I mean I didn't get a TOO great grade for En Lang last exam, but it was okay, but in Physics my friend laughed at me for stupid answers like "oh the train isn't that fast irl for safety reasons" and such. Never again.
Ngl at my core I'm just sad girl music but give it distortion guitars and deep cut lyrics and scream-singable notes and self-hatred and blaming her past relationships for it and basically oh shoot I've been listening too too much Olivia Rodrigo.
