Could we get a 'mute post' button on Wafrn so I don't have to scroll past the same post several times with different small talk replies

wubsbian,

@gabboman I'm not swarmed by my own replies it's more a case by case as I scroll past people I follow

There are still some people that think Picasso died in the 1700’s or something

wubsbian,

@SnazzyPurpleMan Really insulting to a guy who's alive and well

Today I decided to check on my small Bionicle parts for the first time after moving since I'm considering getting more. Ended up putting together a creachure and curing my depression.

wubsbian,

Wafrn needs editing so I can add tags to my post when I forget anyways

I just finished reading the article No Fap: A Cultural History of Anti-Masturbation by Aya Labanieh, an in depth takedown of the ideology and practice from Babylonian origins, the French Revolution, Bible story theory, rules of eugenics, Freud's miracle surgery, and it's evolution under capitalism. You can read it here: https://lareviewofbooks.org/article/no-fap-a-cultural-history-of-anti-masturbation/

wubsbian,

About the author: Aya Labanieh is a Syrian American writer, translator, academic, and aspiring stand-up comedian. She is a PhD candidate in the Department of English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University, studying imperial conspiracies and their conspiracy-theory afterlives in literature and media.

Twitch homepage streamer actually got me watching some proper Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay. It was certainly not what I was expecting, looked more like the elaborate fights with tech I'd set up for myself in Gmod sandbox than a cyberpunk RPG.

So I have The Vincent Black Shadow Fears in the Water CD which I heard had dvd content like music videos. I put it into a USB cd player on my laptop and it's actually also a photo gallery and newsfeed that requires a registration code from a website that doesn't exist anymore. Even if I did manage to get around it I doubt I'd be able to access any sort of feed :/

I know we're all tired of horror that's oooooh kids media but it's scary!!!! And I feel like it's because too many creators rely on shock instead of building off something with inherently high stakes. There's a lot of potential in taking inspiration from something like Fireman Sam or Thunderbirds.

Can a young person with no science skills, just the dream of having the coolest job possible, become and oceanographer?

should i buy a polaroid or go the easy route and use the digital camera i already have

wubsbian,

Imo stick with digital, a photo worth printing can always be printed later. $40 for an eight-film cartridge isn't all that worth it.

Sometimes I have to let things sit in my library for a while before I can fully enjoy them. Exhibit A, bought Titanfall 2 three years ago, played it for the first time a few months ago. Exhibit B, I still haven't watched the anime dvds I picked out at a closing sale at Blockbuster.

I need everyone to understand that she is like Sanrio to me. She is too hot to have just been a limited run blind bag figure released only in Canada, France, and Brazil.

I just remembered YouTube Red Originals were a thing. They did their own Divergent and Jake Paul was in it. Wonder how that turned out for them?
