Spent yesterday afternoon at a garden centre choosing a new rosebush for my wife's birthday.
Not as expensive as usual, came away with the rosebush, 3 lillies, a hanging basket of petunias, a sage Bush and some lettuce seedlings.
I hate coated non stick pans. Possibly carcinogenic
I have carbon steel pans, lighter than cast iron, and properly seasoned, nothing sticks to them and food cooks perfectly. 100% recyclable and last for years
In fact we have stainless steel and carbon steel pans that are over 12 years old and still perfectly usable.
@mansr I expect so, but they still wear.
I have used them in holiday apartments.
Salter "pan for life" are lightweight carbon steel pans, and we find them excellent.
Why is it that every new power tool I buy has a different size dust extraction tube?
Even the same brand.
I have several pipe reducer adaptors for my shop vac, but the new sander has a larger pipe that none will fit.
Duct tape to the rescue, I suppose, but it's so annoying.
@mkarliner
I did have one, but downsizing means I no longer have a suitable place for it.
To be honest most of the things I printed were modifications for the printer. :)

Before you post links to paywalled sites or YouTube, think first "Do I want to propagate this content ?"
I personally avoid any of these sites, of which YouTube is one of the worst.
My reasons:
Paywalled sites are often trying to make you pay for content they have stolen from others, not much is original.
You tube is full of misinformation, annoying vlogs and outdated nonsense, plus ads.
@wyliecoyoteuk I will occasionally post links to paywalled articles in reputable publications if there's an easy way to bypass the paywall or I know that some of my followers have access.
Just cancelled Paramount+.
Having watched all of STSNW, (and seriously annoyed by the finale) and a few episodes of the new Quantum leap, have totally lost interest, the rest of the offering is old films and "original" series which are not very original.
I did the same with Netflix, Britbox and Prime. Seems all of these offerings rely on a few highlights and large amounts of legacy stuff.
Most of the series seem to Peter out pretty quickly.
Prime at least has the myth of free next day delivery.
I must admit that Netflix has a much bigger range, but I still struggle to find anything of interest.
I very rarely watch anything twice, don't see the attraction of watching the same story more than once.
Went out to the pub for a meal .Last time before the tourists descend.
Bad move we were sat between a table of nurses(loud, discussing vomit and tourniquets) and a table of primary school teachers (louder and lots of squeals)
@wyliecoyoteuk That's as far as I got a few days ago. The chess move started with Rf which together with the Roman numerals made the atomic numbers constraint impossible to meet.
In my teens, I used to get tickets for some concerts in the Birmingham town hall orchestra gallery behind the stage for 50p. I saw a lot of amazing musicians from the back.
@penguin42 Edge and Chrome share a lot of code. Edge is actually available for Linux and Mac now. (although it has some odd behaviour in Linux). Teams also has a Linux client, but it is very buggy.
