zazaserty,

Damn that’s fucked… So all .ml domains are gonna be taking over

Following Mastodon accounts from Lemmy?

Hey, folks. I’m new to this whole Fediverse thing. One of the things I’ve been most excited try out is the whole cross platform aspect, where you can follow peertube/mastodon/lemmy accounts from the other sites. I have my reddit account mostly switched over. I went through and found (I think) all of the communities I follow...

zazaserty,

I think mastodon users can see lemmy content and even post. But yeah we don’t have that… yet!

zazaserty,

This has that ai generated vibe to it. So weird man. Might be just me

zazaserty,

It just had a janky vibe to it. I don’t wish to be misunderstood here. I saw it as a interesting detail to comment on, and I pointed out it could just be me overthinking it, I never intended to judge the quality of the joke on this.

zazaserty,

Malwarebytes kinda sucks anyway. That aside, it is weird that you get such warning. I doubt it’s not a false positive.

zazaserty,

I apologize, I didn’t word my opinion in the best way. I could debate about the quality of this product with you, and I think it could be quite enjoyable for both of us. However, this is not the point here.

As I was saying. I doubt MalwareBytes is in the right here. It probably made a mistake. In all fairness, I have used that specific instance before and had no issues. That being said, I don’t use that antivirus or windows so… who knows. I personally trust the instance and its owner, and have had no notice about issues like this ever. So if I were you, I wouldn’t worry. Watch out for other warnings and be alert. That’s all.

zazaserty,

Right, naming things like viruses for extra edginess and laughs can cause that. Makes tons of sense.

zazaserty,

You don’t have to be looking for it… You just aren’t federating with the instances that post it. In my case, tchncs.de federates with lemmy.nsfw. Because of this I do see porn in the all communities tab.

zazaserty,

Damn it hurts my eyes. I don’t like when verbose languages require such long lines, it feels uncomfortable.

A User Setting on Lemmy to View Only Votes from Your Instance

It would be interesting to have a user setting on Lemmy to view only the votes from your instance. This way, you can have a unique experience depending on the instance you are in, as there are instances that cater to different audiences. For example, the instance lemmy.dbzer0.com is for piracy, while programming.dev is for...

The ocean is turning green. Yes, it's climate change. (grist.org)

More than half of the world’s oceans have changed colors in the past 20 years, becoming more green than blue. The culprit? Climate change. In a study, published Wednesday in Nature, decades worth of research showed 56 percent of the world’s oceans experienced color change between 2002 to 2022.

zazaserty,

We have the powe to stop corporations. At least for now, as we control the fediverse. However keep in mind, everything meets its end inevitably.

zazaserty,

On point! Someones gotta pay the bill sir! FREEDOM

zazaserty,

The problem here is that we all lose. They ignored the warnings about climate change but now we all suffer the effects of it.

zazaserty,

As long as they don’t stop. I embarrased myself once because of that

zazaserty,

I think its unethical to cause an animal to go extinct on purpose. Like it seems a very nuclear option to me.

On the other hand I hate these mosquitoes tho… And they are a medical threat to humans

zazaserty,

Hey, I don’t know how to help you here but let me give you some advice. Maybe you don’t have to fake anything. Studying can be rewarding and can give you great opportunities in the future. I get what this sub is about, but I think studying is better than living that way. I may be wrong tho, if you want to fake the degree I’m sure someone can hep. If they catch you however…
