Regarding the recent update, I understand a switch to active mute items can be helpful, but I strongly believe that it should be on by default after the update: it was on before (from lacking the ability to control it) and it might startle some users (myself) when switched off after the update. If itā€™s for the featureā€™s discoverability, how about an alert at the next time the user adds something to the mute items? And Iā€™d also argue that this feature does not need a lot of attention: people who want to control the mute item will go to the list and see the switch at the top (I sure hope so). (2/2)

@atpfm Love the overtime! Great to see the perks of being a member expanding.
One thing: is it too much hassle to add a chapter or at least a timestamp for the overtime? Because I still want to listen live and I want to pick up where I left off (I do understand that I can also just lift my lazy fingers and do it manually but it takes a few times to get it right. And yes the Ad-free feed has the chapter but itā€™s not unedited

@siracusa I do understand thatā€¦but allegedly you have to enter the title to the CMS, and if one can take a note on the timestamp when the broadcast was cut off, and just attach the timestamp to the show notes, as the only thing in the show notes, clients like Overcast would pick it up as a timestamp. But I will understand that it looks like a slippery slop for youā€¦

IMO still has the best car brands in . While most companies just go with transliteration of their sounds (Lotus = č·Æē‰¹ę–Æ lĆ¹ tĆØ shÄ«), or literal translations of their meanings (General Motors = 通ē”Øę±½č½¦ tōng yĆ²ng qƬ chē, literally ā€œgeneral carsā€), BMWā€™s Chinese brand is 宝马 bĆ”o mĒŽ, which not only sounds like ā€œBMWā€, but also means ā€œPrecious Horseā€, which I think is cute for a car.

Special mention goes to Ford which uses ē¦ē‰¹ fĆŗ tĆØ which is a transliteration, but also means ā€œspecial good fortuneā€ if you squint a little bit.

Iā€™m sure you know more cool brands I donā€™t. Tell me!

@drahardja Lexus used to have one of the best translations: 凌åæ—ļ¼Œfrom 凌äŗ‘壮åæ—, which means ā€œsky-high ambitionā€. And of course itā€™s also a soundalike. However, due to trademark disputes (citation needed?), now itā€™s just the sound, 雷克čØę–Æ, which meansā€¦nothing.
