So hopefully I'm doing this right! :) (I'm still new to some of this so haven't figured out things yet! I did ask this via Mastodon also, but wanted to add more detail to my answer!)...
It's a game where all of the progression is knowledge based. So once you play through the whole thing once, it'll never really be the same again. Absolutely loved my time in it. I never thought they'd be able to do that twice, but the DLC effectively hit me all over again. I highly recommend that, too. Play it and tell me what you think once you're done!
So my old headset finally fell apart completely. I've been trying to find a fitting replacement, but man is it hard... so here's hoping I can get some guidance here....
I'm rocking a Beyerdynamic MMX 300 that I bought about four years ago now. Still going strong, but the price tag is steep ($250). Has no RGB, and the sound quality and mic quality are both amazing.
Wizard with a Gun is an online cooperative sandbox survival game set in a magical wilderness wrought with dangerous creatures and arcane mysteries. Embark on a journey alone or with friends to collect, craft, and outfit your wizard however you see fit as you explore the unknown....
Just downloaded this while at work, looking forward to giving it a shot. Looks like a lot of fun, will update this post later on with impressions after I spend some time with it!
Plot details are officially under wraps, but the film is rumored to center on two young women of faith who are lured into a cat-and-mouse game in the home of an eccentric man. No word yet on who will be producing.
Sounds really interesting so far. Looking forward to hearing more details about it in the future.
In any MMO, if there's a mechanic that makes me turn away from the boss and stop doing damage, I can't stand it. It's not necessarily bad, it really isn't. It just throws off my groove and it kind of feels bad to cut off my whole rotation when I'm in the zone because it's now suddenly too spooky to look at the boss.
It's so unbelievably tiny and unimportant, but I hate it. Lmao.
I also just recently booted up ESO after getting the latest expansion. I've always bounced off of this game hard after a while. Whenever I pick a class, I don't really seem to like the class or most of the classes main skills, and as a result, I play the game for 2 weeks to a month and just quit. But the Arcanist? I've fallen in love almost immediately. I love this class, and as a result, I think I might stick around for a bit! How are you enjoying it so far?
I found it really odd that the game dumped me into the High Isle expansion, but I was enjoying it. Decided to go ahead and switch to the Necrom expansion story proper, and though I haven't gotten too far into it, I'm digging it.
Is there a computer game, or a specific moment, a fight etc that you wish you could do fresh with no prior memory of it?

Hugh Grant To Star In A24 Horror Movie Heretic (www.empireonline.com)
It's from the A Quiet Place writing duo. Should be interesting to see Grant in a horror role. I think he's a fantastic actor. What do you guys think?
What are some of your LEAST favorite game mechanics?
The other thread about favorite mechanics is great, so let's also do the opposite: what are some of your most hated mechanics?
