Will /kbin eventually support the more "advanced" microblog platforms like Misskey or Firefish?

It looks like right now, you can view /kbin users and content from Misskey and Firefish instances, but not the other way around; I'm not able to view my accounts from either of those instances here on /kbin. From what I can tell, I can only view content from Mastodon and Pixelfed instances....

Suggestion: Thread Entanglement, or automatic merging of duplicate threads

See the quick inspect-element mockup I put together for an example. I'm bad at design, but I think it gets the point across. Current implementation on left, suggested on right. Also, I'm using Kbin Enhancement Suite for the modifications to instance names, but I think they are even more useful for this demonstration....

In your honest opinion, what is the worst PVP super in the game, and why is it Silkstrike?

Seriously, I don't know what it is about this super, but it feels absolutely terrible in PVP. There's definitely something wrong with the damage resist, because it doesn't even feel like 0% DR, it feels like negative DR sometimes. I can't tell if maybe the animation just makes your hitbox an easier target or if you're actually...

What exactly is Misskey supposed to be?

Most of the other Fediverse platforms are pretty obvious to me as to what they're meant to be alternatives to. Mastodon for Twitter/Threads, PixelFed for Instagram, Lemmy for Reddit, Matrix for Discord/Slack... But I can't quite place MissKey. It doesn't really feel like any other social network I've seen before....

NSFW content in /m/random keeps showing up in the "Random Threads" and "Random Posts" boxes on the front page's sidebar, unblurred, even with the magazine blocked

Was talking to my boss about the Fediverse today, and recommended Kbin as a good starting point. Seeing some big ole anime boobies on the front page definitely made it a bit awkward....

Is there any indication for edited comments?

I was looking at a comment I left earlier today (several hours earlier) and realized I made a typo, and went to edit it. I'm used to Reddit putting a little asterisk next to the comment's timestamp to indicate that it was edited, but I'm not seeing anything like this on Kbin. Is this something that's tracked somewhere for users...

I'm not sure if this is allowed, but I thought people may be interested. I made a magazine for people working from home

If promoting a magazine you created isn't allowed, feel free to remove this, or I will also gladly delete it. There's no real rules in this mag, but it's kinda slimy to self-promote, so I get it if people don't want this here....

What does the red dotted line next to some top-level comments mean?

I've noticed that some comments on threads will have a red, dotted line next to them, almost like it's the color coding for child comments, but it shows up occasionally on a top-level comment which has no parent comment. I've tried looking at the accounts where I see this, but I can't find any patterns for it yet, myself. Any...
