Interestingly in some jurisdictions this may be illegal. I am United Kingdom. A friend worked at a medium size music festival (not Glastonbury but not just someone's backyard). For a long time the deal.wqs.just a free ticket and food tickets for 8hrs work a day for the 3featival days and a day either side setup and takedown. As the festival made more profit for the owners the tax man got interested and found the ticket and food was less than minimum wage and started that the benefit of getting to see the whole thing and be communtity" was just the ticket price no matter what the "volunteers" said.
Basically when posting on Reddit for last year or so my inbox is just people queuing up to tell me I am wrong. It is not good. only a couple of niche subs seems worth it.
On a Wednesday morning in May, Hannah got a call from her lawyer—there was a warrant out for her husband’s arrest. Her thoughts went straight to her kids. They were going to come home from school and their father would be gone. “It burned me,” Hannah says, her voice breaking. “He hasn’t done anything to get his bond...
They basically seem to be saying if someone access pornhub it must even the husband using the it as women don't. (Husband was banned from using any device.)
Yeah, somthing like a agricultural muck spreader casting"enshitifcation" accross them would be accurate...but they are no where like dying people just love living in shit.
Yeah that's the thing, I have not jumped due to API thing (although I am worried about how it will be moderated). I was looking to jump for last year or more, but nothing scratched that itch....between big subs being so big, being shouted down for having an opinion and slowly building up bans (when you post every day for 12 years you are likily to post something mods don't like in that time). Been looking to get out ofr a while.
Yep same, that is why I left , I've been looking for something to scratch the old Reddit itch, as fed up of "waiting to see why I am wrong" this to me is not about API (although the worry of poor moderation I support) it is mainly been looking to leave and this is the excuse.
Data ceases to be personal when it is made anonymous, and an individual is no longer identifiable. But for data to be truly anonymized, the anonymization must be irreversible.
If it is truly anomoymised they can keep the contant.
Say you posted a guide to building a pc without any thing to identify you then Reddit could keep the guide up and just remove username....but if you put anything in that comment to identify yourself (like "I am bob of Bob's PC repairs, Slough trading estate, UK and here is my guide....") That would have to be deleted on request (in theory they could just remove that sentence). Most places think it's easier to just remove all your content but Reddit seems to think they can anonmymise it.
Another update and possibly a solution for some case where posts were not properly deleted. Seems I jumped the gun on this and the restores haven't been intentional - at least not in this particular case....
Yes but if they take the user name off can they keep the comment text up. For most comments they probably could unless you were putting your name or your job title and company or similar in the body of the text.
For the first one wasn't Miguel:s comment you mention hating on Holland, so is a problem. (Maybe strange reverted the issues or maybe Miguel isn't a reliable narrator)
Agree with the second there.did some some small bits of filler, during it I felt like "no wonder this is two hours if they labour some of these scenes" before I realised it is more like a 4hour film
The animation style being copied by the Puss in Boots film was actually quite refreshing. puss is actually an ok film in parts, conflict with big bad wolf is great....Horner less so
