I'll post this in my guild's discord a little later; I'm on the work laptop so I won't be able to open the link, but this looks great to share load outs with inquiring minds and friends.
I wish ANet would fix the issue of massive skill lag during large engagements in #WvW. Right now it's a crapshoot on which zerg is going to get hit with crippling skill lag that directly influences the outcome of the clash. #GuildWars2
He doesn't seem to have a lot of positive opinions about the balance update - applying boons on druid seems much much worse than before (requires lots of ability spam and makes CA part of rotation instead of a reactive action), scourge has been hit hard and suffers from the same problem as druid when it comes to boon application...
They nerfed Scourge when they didn't need to. It was in a good middle spot for DPS and has great utility for staying alive and doing consistent damage. Maybe barrier Scourge will be better, but that spec is the laughing stock of fractals so my character is essentially dead until Anet decides to do something else.
@bass I don't understand why they touched Scourge and absolutely took it out of WvW. It was fine where it was. Now I'm going to have to play support chrono or heal tempest (only have legendary armor right now for light armor).
I don't think the GW2 subreddit is going to be able to set a NSFW flag to help continue the protest. News has already broke about Reddit replacing mods that did this in several of the big subreddits because setting the NSFW flag on what was SFW is a violation of Reddit rules. My personal opinion is that the community just set the subreddit to read only and transfer to other federations. #reddit#gw2#moderation
Compared to week 1, reset was a lot smoother. There was still some fuckery with the borderlands opening when they shouldn't. Queue times were reasonable. That could be simply an issue of less people trying to play. We had very minimal lag as well....
Reaper's Corridor is holding our own a little better than the previous week but matchups are still lopsided with massive guild stacking on BBL with a lot of Mag players (red has been great to play against, blue just has some major inconsistencies between us melting them and then they being super tanky with boon rips no longer working). Our future alliance guild has said they have 50+ queues on all battlegrounds in their matchup.
Lag and bugs are still out the wazoo. Reset was a little better but they chose a lock icon on the WvW menu instead of just going from greyed out to open. I was lucky to get in by hitting travel from Lion's Arch on the lock appearance but not so much for the rest of my guild squad.
I recommend you look at a couple roaming builds for WvW. Exotic gear will do you just fine to get away from random players going after you. For example, my main WvW spec as Necro is Power Boon Rip Scourge with mainly marauder/berserker gear (depending on how much of a glass cannon I want to be), but if I'm roaming or trying to catch up with my squad from clear across the map, I run Celestial Harbinger since that spec has great sustain and plenty of escape abilities. #GuildWars2#WvW#Roaming
Spellbreaker is getting nerfed to the ground in WvW (a welcome change to the current all heavy zerg blobs) and boon strips no longer apply conditions on the strip. Not sure how I feel about the strip change; less pressure on cleansing but blobs may be a lot harder to kill now.
I played on reset night and the queuing system was an absolute sh!t show. Instead of just allowing players to press "F" at the portals in Lion's Arch, the system brought up a queue system (the WvW window was also bugged at the same time) that players needed to queue into and then you might be allowed in. I got placed into another BL away from my squad and the system kicked me back to the queue once the Travel dialog came up after 2 hours of waiting. Ping has been absolutely horrendous, and the way teams were filled was very confusing leading to some sides being completely dominated. I'm pretty sure Anet has been doing experiments in the background real time that has led to copious amounts of bugs and other performance issues.

Week 2 of the WvW beta. What are your thoughts so far?
