sollte das Roaming automatisch zwischen allen Netzbetreibern funktionieren, nicht nur bei der 112. Dann hätten wir tatsächlich etwas davon, drei unabhängige Mobilfunknetze zu haben, anstatt nur mehr zu bezahlen als in fast allen anderen EU-Ländern.
Ha, ich habe ja völlig vergessen dass die Schweiz nicht im EU-Roaming mit drin ist. Standardmäßig würde ich für die Datenmenge (6 GB), die ich im letzten Monat genutzt habe, knapp 1.800€ zahlen. Ein Schnäppchen!
Wenn jemand eine besser Idee hat, gerne her damit. Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass ich mal nach Free WiFi Schildern Ausschau halten würde …

Mobilfunker und Regulierer unternehmen laut einem Bericht des Citizen Lab zu wenig, um Sicherheitsschwächen der Roaming- und Abrechnungsprotokolle auszumerzen.
Unten im Artikel noch einige Tipps; hier meine Auswahl mit Ergänzungen:
1️⃣ Nur noch Webseiten mit #HTTPS ansurfen und anbieten (Anbieter: Auch #HSTS aktivieren und bei hstspreload.org registrieren)
2️⃣ #2G deaktivieren
3️⃣ #Roaming deaktivieren, wenn möglich
4️⃣ #Updates installieren
5️⃣ Möglichst wenige nicht-essenzielle #Apps auf dem Gerät haben
6️⃣ #Backup, auch offline
(Letztere zwei helfen nicht explizit gegen #Intellexa, aber gegen andere Angriffe und Fehler)

gestern bin ich im deutschen schweizerischen Grenzgebiet in die Roamingfalle getappt, da ich die mobile Datenverbindung aktiviert hatte und den Mobilfukanbieter auf "automatisch auswählen' eingeschaltet war. Das ganze hat mich für 1,2 MB ca. 27€ gekostet, da die Schweiz nicht EU ist und somit dort nicht die Roamingregelungen wie innerhalb der EU gelten. Als Schutz vor solchen Ausgaben habe ich die Deaktivierung der Datendienste ab 5€ eingeschaltet.

Compared to week 1, reset was a lot smoother. There was still some fuckery with the borderlands opening when they shouldn't. Queue times were reasonable. That could be simply an issue of less people trying to play. We had very minimal lag as well....
I recommend you look at a couple roaming builds for WvW. Exotic gear will do you just fine to get away from random players going after you. For example, my main WvW spec as Necro is Power Boon Rip Scourge with mainly marauder/berserker gear (depending on how much of a glass cannon I want to be), but if I'm roaming or trying to catch up with my squad from clear across the map, I run Celestial Harbinger since that spec has great sustain and plenty of escape abilities. #GuildWars2#WvW#Roaming

Compared to week 1, reset was a lot smoother. There was still some fuckery with the borderlands opening when they shouldn't. Queue times were reasonable. That could be simply an issue of less people trying to play. We had very minimal lag as well....
