Tl;dr; expansion pretty much change whole game, reworks core game mechanics and adds whole new district. Plus Idris Elba and more of Keanu with expansion having almost as much lines as core game.
Honestly I'm surprised to "find out" the Witcher DLC's were only $15, despite having paid that at release. They were better than the base game itself and I would've happily paid 4x that and not be disappointed.
If "people" are complaining about $30 I have to believe it's yet another vocal minority.
I really wish there was a decent competitor to Overwatch as I love the game itself, I just hate every development that's happening around it.
Paladins often get offered as an alternative, but it really doesn't feel the same. The gunplay lacks any sense of impact, and as bad as Overwatch's matchmaking is Paladin's is absolutely atrocious.
Exactly! The damage has been done, there is no reversal. Reddit has put it in no uncertain terms that they are not to be trusted, and that continuing to invest in their "community" is for fools.
