Hogwarts Legacy was worth it alone for the beautiful reconstruction of the school; there's so much detail in it. Felt magical exploring it after having read it as a child.
I've recently found that big (mostly open world) games tend to overwhelm or even intimidate me. I'm a big fan of the Rockstar games and absolutely adored Breath of the Wild, but my playthrough of Tears of the Kingdom has been a bit rocky from the get-go....
Yeah its the time wasting that can drive me nuts. A game that is paced well goes down easy. Too often im playing a game and there comes a point where i feel like im getting bored and need to railroad the main quest to get it done.
So yeah... maybe the turtle slowly waking up that he was just a Laptog for reddit and thrown away as soon as they didnt need him anymore ( moderation is allways a volunteer thing and shouldnt be like a 2nd job ).
Reddit was always flawed in that reddit mod ranks were based off time added. So you ended up with a few people that own tons, and can just unmoderate everyone below them. So they arent even accountable to their peers. I recall WallStreetBets had an attempted coup for a deal or something.
I just set up all the subreddits I still want to following in Reeder, an RSS app. I'm able scroll through the posts ad free. It the occurred to me that this is a loss of revenue to Reddit. Could RSS be the new target for onerous fees?...
Yeah, RSS is alive and well. Sure, you aren't getting full articles, but with a full brief and a leap into a browser with a reader view is a pretty slick experience.

Considering how hungry the industry is for recurring revenue, it's mind boggling the reddit premium route wasn't chosen. They've left so many opportunities to recoup some revenue I'm convinced this was just a ploy to kill of 3PA.
Welp, I just deleted my 12 year old, 240k+ karma Reddit account
I was sort of holding on to hope, that something would change. Unfortunately, nothing did and so, here I am....
