Hello! I'm trying to figure out how to calibrate my feed to show only what I want to see.

So, I'm new to the Fediverse as it seems that Reddit is a sinking ship. I've been trying to figure out how to customize my feed so I only see content from the Magazines that I subscribe. Like how you can customize your feed on Reddit to only show posts from subreddits that you were in....

Clock the three line menu up top then click subscribed. It will show any magazines you subscribed to

Top every time. I line up the neck, go one down by one. Never had an issue with this and helps me when I get the the bottom as I pull the surf down on each side

Options to see instance next to usernames?

One thing I'm missing on kbin versus Beehaw is that when I'm looking at comments, I can't quickly discern what instance a person is coming from. I have to hover over them on desktop or click into their profile on mobile to tell. This can be an important piece of information in interacting, since it can tell you if the person is...

on a similar topic, if a magazine was created but the creator is seemingly not using their account any longer, can someone else take it over?

The issue I'm having is that the mod made the magazine and then never logged in again. I have reached out with no answer and they have no activity listed

Seconded Kavita for an ebook reader. Both it and komga do manga and comics very well, but Komga does not do ebooks

Komga is very stable and about to hit v1.0. it and Kavita have different structure for organization (komga's being 1 folder is 1 series and kavita's is some folder and some metadata). Komga is focus on comics and manga and has a great web reader with fantastic integration with tachiyomi and tracking manga/comic progress that sounds to their site and tachiyomi. Kavita has a few features komga does not, such as the ability to read ebooks, send then to Kindle, kobo, and others. They do seem to have more updates but are also still beta now. Both are great but have their strong suits.

For komga you can and it and enter your komga domain, username and password for access.
I personally use FMD2 to scrape manga chapters

So fathers day will be celebrated on Sunday, June 18th in US, UK, CA & more. Do you have anything planned?

I thought this would be a good reminder as well. While I am not a father myself, I spend time with mine usually, doing whatever he has planned for the day. We're not really much for exchanging cards and such. I think time spent together is an ample way to spend the day overall....

I'll be spending the day with my daughter and wife after video chatting my parents. We live by the water so likely we will go swimming and get some ice cream

The only flavor imo
