Just wrapped up my semi-annual replaythrough of the Mass Effect trilogy, so now I'm working on Andromeda. Sometimes I take a break with some Project Zomboid to mix things up.
I mostly stay on New and block all the magazines whose content I have 0 interest in, just to keep the amount of refreshing I need to do down. I'll occasionally switch over to Hot to see what the hivemind is interested in, but yeah otherwise it's far too slow.
I once bought a router to use for my internet when I moved into my new house just to find out that it "wasn't compatible" with Verizon's service. I still have it (because I'm terrible about returning things). Is there any point in keeping it? Is there anything fun or interesting that I could do with it?
If you have anywhere in your home with poor Wi-Fi signal, you could set up the router in bridge mode to effectively act as a range extender. Just make sure to disable DHCP on the 2nd router or it will wreak havoc!
Indie games nowadays (usually) are what AAA games used to be. Polished, fleshed-out, and actually give a damn. The AAA games of today are rushed clones of past glories in a desperate attempt to grab as much cash from the franchise as possible before it's driven into the ground.
Captured by a Ukrainian drone and posted to online messaging platform Telegram, the footage shows three Russian soldiers aiming weapons in the direction of at least seven comrades.
I used Power Delete Suite to edit then delete all mine. Just bookmark the big red button and open it on your profile page. From there, you can tweak it a little before it nukes everything.
Although my first anime was back during early childhood (back when anime programme block was a regular thing in Indonesian television). Vulcan just really started following anime seriously during junior high school back in 2012 (classmates are into Attack on Titan and Sword Art Online during that time, and we often chatted about...
My first anime was Death Parade, and I just fell in love right away. I found the stories to be much more engaging than many of the TV shows I was being exposed to at the time (and since, tbh), along with the visuals being easier to actually see; unlike the direction that many other forms of media seem to taking these days making everything so damn dark you can't see what's going on.
I don't remember exactly which series I started watching beyond that, but I remember Bleach being one of the most memorable. After that, I branched off into a bunch of different genres.
My parents had a flock of chickens and the rooster had clearly his favourite hen (who had the same color as him). He seemed to react every time he could hear her doing a strange cluck, as if his own "cluck cluck" meant "honey, i can hear you, are you in trouble ?".
I was tossing toys over my cat's head and watching him do backflips trying to catch them. Eventually, he ended up near his bowls and when I threw another he did a beautiful backflip and landed face-first into his water bowl! Splashed nearly all the water out as he started scrambling and jumping away from the dish. One of the few times I wish I had been recording!
I was mid-deletion when the blackout started rolling out in force so there were a few (<5%) that I wasn't able to delete. Likely that when subreddits go private it only allows moderators to modify sub content.
Made a Kbin today and am enjoying it so far. Made a Lemmy account like a week ago but already forgot about it. I feel confident enough about it that I've already overwritten and deleted my Reddit account, hopefully that won't turn out to be a mistake!
@avrin I remember playing Twilight Princess on the Wii when it came out and I was a wee lad (somewhere around 8?) and I LOVED it, up until the part where you had to escort a cart to Kakiriko or something like that. It was IMPOSSIBLE for me to complete with my underdeveloped noodle brain and spinning arms, so I ended up never progressing past that point.
Sadly, I don't even have a Wii anymore to try again but that's still the ONLY part of the game I remember.
@rlj Pokemon Red on the GameBoy Color was the shit, man. My sister got it for me for Christmas and I fell in love immediately. I even had a fun experience with the bugs involved with cartridge gaming; In Mt. Moon, there's a girl at the entrance who says she's waiting for her friends, and the game decided to freeze in that exact moment. I can't tell you how long I sat there waiting for her friends to show up before my dad mentioned that maybe it bugged out lol.
@Axiom_Bias I have yet to have a game so completely and totally entrance me upon playing it. Playing Halo CE on the OG Xbox is still some of my favorite gaming memories. I used to even stay up past my bedtime and hide behind the couch just so I could watch my dad and cousin play!
Lately I've just been bouncing around between a few games. Mostly Project Zomboid, the Mass Effect trilogy (and Andromeda when I'm done with that), and Fallout: New Vegas (Tale of Two Wastelands, specifically). Haven't really been that interested in any of the new releases lately tbh...
You get to play one videogame for the first time again. What you picking?
Okay. If you could play any videogame again for the first time, what would it be?

What's the point of having another router?

Are there any scripts to wipe my reddit comments/posts?
I know you can delete your reddit account, but it mentions that it just deletes your association with them and not the actual content....
