If half of the players cannot make it, we postpone/reschedule. No point in playing if half the group is missing.
If someone misses a session, we ignore them unless they've designated someone else to play their character. They still get xp but as I've gotten older, IRL happens and it's no ones fault if they can't make a session.
If a character must be involved and no one has been designated, I take over for them. I personally don't like doing that because reasons, but some situations honestly call for things like that.
Other than those things, I type up post session recaps and share with them. That way it's a good refresher in between sessions and if someone missed a session, they can read and catch up with what happened. Mind you, we play every other Saturday for 2 hours at a time because IRL and adulting lol.
@foxfell Had to look up Dalaran. This guide is for the game Guild Wars 2, not World of Warcraft. Good to know where to get one of these in that game though!
I tend to enjoy movies directed by Terry Gilliam, Stanley Kubrick, Clive Barker, Quentin Tarantino, Guillermo del Toro, Ridley Scott, John Carpenter, or Christopher Nolan. I'm sure there's way more out there that I've forgotten. With that said, the older Steven Spielberg movies were great, but I kind of fell off that wagon awhile back.
*edit for spelling
As a former GW1 player, I detested the Silent Surf zone. Elite skill capturing was important to me, but this area was abysmal. Hope the fractal rectifies that memory!
@WingedHussar I get told this a lot. It makes me feel really good hearing it, but at the same time it makes me feel like I need to be quicker on pushing out guides 😆 There is a backlog of guides I want to make, but mounts are a bit more on the to-do list. I'm looking at making the griffon mount next, using my husband's account for the pictures. One thing I really focus on is that I am actively pursuing that same thing in the pictures/guide making process. This way, if I encounter any issues, I can mention it. Thank you, too!
@man0fbass Ooo I will definitely add that in! I try to keep things up to date, but there are details I miss on occassion. Also thank you! I actually got inspired to make this guide BECAUSE of the wiki. Some of the pictures/descriptions are abysmal x.x
Just realized this was for tabletop rpgs. Oops! I've been GMing a Pathfinder 1e mashup of The Crimson Throne and The Jade Regent. Originally it was 2 seperate groups, but due to 2 people bowing out for irl reasons, I decided to merge the groups. It's been great so far. Added in a little side flair for 1 of the groups originally, so been mixing in a bit of that too.
