I suppose I did fail at attracting my own community tho... I sigh because I've been trying to warn everyone about this exact scenario for several years now. Unfortunately no one listened, or maybe no one cared. I dunno. Done thinking 'boutit. I do know it was inevitable tho. I've seen it a dozen times with my online communities before. I haven't presented it to anyone except everyone in the old sub and discord. At this point the costs to run it aren't large enough to make a difference in my bottom line. I also think it's more valuable to me than the money rn, because it can be used to make more money.

Hey y'all, I even totally released the source code so you can laugh at me behind my back. Or you can laugh at my front and use the Forums. I removed the link previews and video/twitter embeds so it's a mostly text based affair in there now. A few bubble heads and badges, but 95% text. Groups still have animated GIFs, embeds and everything you expect from modern resource heavy social media, but if you're a homotextual like me, you don't gotta venture over there if you don't want.
