I somewhat wonder what Palestinians would think of this one-state solution
I also wonder about what Palestinians have thought of the one-state solution. I mean before this October.
I only know of the One Democratic State Campaign (ODSC) which is a Palestinian-led initiative, but I don't know how many Palestinians are behind this proposal.
It's one thing to miss the point and another to disagree. I am with the latter. Close to the end of this article it says:
I’m grateful for leaders who don’t feel the need to take sides.
I don't see how something like this can be fair to the oppressed, no matter who you think they are.
The way I see things in this conflict too, it is worth looking at the power imbalance. I never support the colonisers.
Btw I never claimed to have read your articles, I am talking about this post's argument and your comment. I was just saying your comment missed the historical background.
Thousands of human remains were brought from German colonies - partly as "trophies" but also for racist research.

"They decided to set farms on fire so people would run out of food and be unable to fight. This is unacceptable, in today's world they would be taken to court," he said.
These are just a couple of sentences. The colonial forces of Germany were committing genocide for a couple of years.
Tanzania historian Mohamed Said welcomed the president's apology but told the BBC it did not go far enough
An estimated 250,000–300,000 people, mostly civilians, women and children were starved to death by German troops after their tribes rose in revolt against the German colonial oppression.
In fact, the Germans were so “efficient” in their genocidal campaign in Tanzania that the total African population in the region decreased by as much as three quarters.
What happened, how many killed?
At least 50 people were killed after six Israeli air raids hit a residential area of the camp on Tuesday. A Hamas statement said there were 400 dead and injured in the attack. Casualty figures for Wednesday’s attacks are still not known.
In the article here it says
killing or wounding at least 400 persons
So it's not about only about the people being killed, it's also about the wounded ones.

You are correct. He has served the UN since 1992 and he did not step down for Yemen or any genocide. It is just his retirement letter.
Also this is mentioned in the article:
He was criticised for posting support of the boycott, divest, sanctions (BDS) movement and accusing Israel of apartheid – an accusation which he repeated in his retirement letter.

“There is today in the Palestinian territory occupied by Israel since 1967 a deeply discriminatory dual legal and political system, that privileges the 700,000 Israeli Jewish settlers living in the 300 illegal Israeli settlements in East Jerusalem and the West Bank,” said Michael Lynk, the UN Special Rapporteur for the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territory occupied since 1967
Also, even though english is not my first language, I would argue that picking on helpless people is not synonym to killing people and/or dispossessing them of their homes and land.

Israel’s Fear of Criticism Reaches New Levels – Outlawing Palestinian CSOs
Anti-Zionism is not Anti-Semitism
Recommendations: We call on Member States of the Council to:
• Recognize Israel’s policies to silence opposition including against Palestinian CSOs as part of its apartheid;
• Call on Israel, to immediately cease its systematic policies and practices aimed at silencing Palestinian CSOs and HRDs, in breach of their right to freedom of expression, privacy, and association, and to urgently rescind the designations, which amount to acts of apartheid;
• Publish a bulletin to banks and financial institutions, putting them on notice to dismiss as inapplicable, Israel’s designation, and call on the European Union and States to remove ‘terrorism’ clauses as internal conditions placed on donor funding of Palestinian CSOs;
• Call for an independent investigation into Pegasus-NSO Group’s operations within Palestine, in order to identify the scope of its surveillance activities against Palestinian HRDs, and their ties to the Israeli government;
