GNOME users, I have some questions for you! This wonโt single-handedly drive the design of GNOME (Iโm not that influentialโฆ yet ๐ ), but anecdata is always nice to help unstick design discussions or just gather insights.

I don't often use the "Recent" view, because a lot of times stuff does not show-up there. My idea of "Recent" is different from GNOME's I guess. Because of that, I got into the habit of not using it.
Why did #Reddit not at least try to buy #Apollo? The app is lightyears better, from what Iโve heard. And now they have two problems, a shitty in-house app, and an angry user base. Could have been avoided for USD 10M, and the damage is probably far greater than USD 10M.
