I recently played an amazing DOS game where you have your country and you can declare war or peace with other ones, and i really enjoyed it. Growing up one of my favorite DOS games was Gobliiins 3, such cool memories!
Good morning! :) Today I want to focus mainly on reviewing the pull requests you've submitted. There are many great things there that will help improve the kbin experience. That's amazing, thank you! I'm also in the final stages of sorting out the infrastructure-related formalities. Soon, the situation with the website's...
FightinCowboy on YouTube has some really great walkthroughs. Helpful for folks like me who don’t have a lot of time to game and want to make the most of it.
I saw an article for Star Wars Outlaws and it made me think of all the SW video games I've played over the years, starting from the original SW console game to X-Wing Alliance to Jedi: Survivor...
Yes! This an the E1 Pod Racing on PC feels like my childhood. Remember when PC games came in those large boxes and the front panel was like a cardboard flap you could open up to read more?
Noticing some people levying that against people bringing up complaints about their experience here. It's not the spirit which I hope will prevail. Also, lazy cop out in a discussion.
I mean yeah, it’s probably not the best optics comparing an outspoken equal-rights activist of color to an old white man during a not-so-great time in history. I hope people can appreciate that my “joke” came from them sharing a last name. And how dapper Lewis looks in a fancy suit haha
My wife and I enjoyed watching the show on some streaming service so we decided to see it in real life when it came to town. I wanted to combine two of my new favorite things.
My knowledge of US history comes from whatever I paid attention to in HS years ago. Watching the play Hamilton. And a walking tour I went on in the Outer Banks. 1) So if Bono is Hamilton’s right hand man… would that make him John Laurens?
He would probably publish anonymous essays detailing his ideal wheels.
Ok so let’s start off by saying that I am not an expert in all things TV. I have no formal ‘critic’ training. But you know what? I know what I like. And I like the Knick....
Call me a bird, because I’m now migrating. Poor jokes aside, I’m hoping to ask a quick question. And I hope this is the place to do it. But since it’s a learning experience and I’m asking for help I won’t be offended if you tell me.
Anyways, I’ve been dabbling with kbin and Mastodon a bit. I thought I might like Mastodon since there is an iOS app. But I don’t quite like how it’s laid out. It seems like I need to follow people or things for them to show up for me. With Kbin it feels more like Reddit in the sense that there is an ‘all’ page comprised of many subsections to explore.
that makes sense, thank you. Now, I’m starting to understand “instances” are like servers. I’ve picked kbin.social to start. Are we free, as users, to create as many Magazines as we’d like? Or does that put too much stress on the smaller server?
For instance, I saw that kbin.social had a ‘sports’ magazine, but not one for golf specifically. So I created one. Was that correct, or should I have found an instance of kbin that caters to sports?
Just noticed that the thumbnail image is rotated 90 degrees…. However opening the full size image shows it right-side-up. Not sure why this is? If it’s a kbin thing or a the problem is between the chair and the keyboard.
I can’t even imagine how it must feel to get a hole-in-one. I mean I’ll hit the green on a par 3 once in a while. But still 2 or 3 good putts away at that point.
What do you all use for password management?
I'm using KeePass currently, since I don't really want to use anything publicly hosted. But I was curious to see what other people have been using!
What is your favorite ever DOS game?

If brands were brutally honest. What brand would have what slogan?
Just wondering...
Best Open World games?
Something like TOTK/BOTW/Horizon?...
What's your favorite 'Star Wars' video game?

I hope that "Go back to Reddit" doesn't become a recurring jab used against others in the fediverse

I asked an AI Image Generator to create a picture of Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton as one of America’s founding fathers, Alexander Hamilton. I give to you: Lewis Alexander Hamilton.
I feel like I never hear people talking about this show, but The Knick (TV Series 2014–2015), might be one of the greatest pieces of television ever created. (www.imdb.com)

I was fortunate to be able to have gone to the PGA Championship at Oak Hill last month. I know they said no pictures… but everyone else was doing it…
