Hi guys, I apologise if this seems obvious but I canโt work it out. How do I defederate an instance I donโt want to see posts from in my feed, if the server is still permitted on my instance? I donโt want to block all federation, just from specific servers....
I can help: say for example, you want to block lemmygrad.ml - go to kbin.social/d/lemmygrad.ml (d for "domain") and from there you can block the whole instance (click on the ๐ซ).
I like Mint. I've been a Linux user for a long time, and Mint has so many little refinements and doesn't get in my way - of course a lot of that is Cinnamon, but hey, they 're the originators of that too. Plus I'm used to apt at this point. I also find it easy to customize the way I like (nothing too crazy, just a bit): https://imgur.com/a/wPxLPkb
Haven't really delved into Mastodon so not sure how that works but you can definitely interact with kbin communities ("magazines") same as you do with Lemmy communities.
For example, I see your account is at midwest.social, so try this link as an example: midwest.social/c/tech@kbin.social
How to block an instance on a personal level?

Fedora or Mint in 2023...or whatever
Why are you choosing Fedora over Mint or vice versa? What distro do you use and why?

Spez on here goes INSANE (lemmy.blahaj.zone)
What's the difference between Lemmy and Kbin?
Considering that Kbin lets you browse Lemmy communities
New to the Fediverse
Are we able to participate in Mastodon and Kbin communities as well?
