Hoping to stall a ban in the U.S., TikTok says it generated $14.7B for American small businesses last year.
@TechCrunch reports the company's economic activity report found "that over 7 million U.S. businesses rely on TikTok and that 224,000 jobs were supported by small business activity on the platform in 2023."

Unless advertisers are doing it for charity, TikTok has not just generated $14.7B for American small businesses, but also at least $14.7B in cost for American consumers. Net positive or negative? 🤷🏼♂️
