@mcfly Both are completely dwarfed by the Chunwan Show (Chinese New Year Gala), which has around one billion viewers.

Not only are there more Chinese to watch such a show than Americans or Europeans, there is also a larger percentage of the country watching the show.

@mcfly Youtube. They are streaming it, and you can watch it later. There are other ways to access the show, but Youtube is probably the most convenient.

The official other way is CCTV's portal, which nowadays works quite well, too.

The show has parts where no Chinese knowledge is required, and parts where you simply can't get anywhere without profound Mandarin knowledge (subtitles in Chinese).
