Anyone have something you tried to post not show up for you, but it clearly posted and shows up for other people? It had no hashtags, wouldn't be muted - I had figured my instance blocked or rejected it because it was about Russia. I even tried posting it again, and I couldn't see either one. But now I know they actually DID post, only since someone replied to one. WEIRD.
@fistfulofdave oh - no, Tusky. I have Android. But you're right, it may even be the app itself. Will have to check on desktop and see if I can see it..
@jake4480@fistfulofdave I use the official one, but I'm having problems with it on iOS. Mainly, though, I'm on my laptop. Cell phone input is a little aggravating to me...
@wendigo@fistfulofdave oh, yeah same but I'm always moving around doing all kinds of crap and the thing's always in my pocket. Or like now, I'm in bed noodling on unplugged bass as I also watch TV and type this on the phone, no room for laptop 🤣
@jake4480 On the subject of Mastodon generally, have you found it to be “quieter” lately (fewer posts using hashtags you follow, from accounts you follow, etc.)?
@SJeffries hmm I'm not sure. But maybe - yeah there are times it totally seems to die, even though I follow a ton of people from Europe haha. You find it to be kinda quieter lately? And usage of it is supposedly up, ever increasing
@SJeffries I mean, I follow a lot of people here, I keep running across them? And sometimes it's insanely active. It's wild. But yeah following hashtags helped liven up the feed some.
@umrk oh, yeah that was me, I do that sometimes. But about 24 hours ago, I posted, looked to check it, it didn't show. Figured it was an error. Reposted it, same. To me, looked like it didn't post. At the time I then thought, maybe it was because it was about Russia. Forgot about it basically. Then this morning, I get a reply on it. Click to see original post, nothing. I can't see it, but it must be there, it got a reply! 🤣 Just looks like a reply out of nowhere. The WEIRDEST thing.

@umrk@wendigo nope. Can't see it at all unless I search, in which case it shows up. Doesn't even show up in my bookmarks when I bookmark it. Beyond bizarre 🤣😂
