Controversial? Israel is as much to blame for antisemitic attacks on Jewish people and communities worldwide by it’s conflating of criticism of Israel with antisemitism. The Israeli lobby continues to assert that the state of Israel is Judaism, and Judaism is the state of Israel, that some people will believe it.
Criticism of Israel is NOT antisemitism, attacking Jewish people, or their beliefs, is.

My point was about the increase in antisemitic attacks at this time, the Israeli state has ‘weaponised’ antisemitism, as was obvious in the demonisation of UK politician Jeremy Corbyn, and many others who criticise Israel’s occupation and colonisation of Palestine, and that this conflating of criticism of Israel and antisemitism, has helped fuel this increase, is my point. limit of 500 characters is a problem.

Okay, I'm now really getting tired of the same old ignorant social media posts about ethics in technology. "I don't care about the political positions or ethics" of a tech project, group, or company is a sign of luxury and privilege and also utter disregard for the most oppressed and marginalised people that is, to be honest, fucking embarrassing. We ought to always seek better options. Surely the terrible harmful actions of even the likes of Google and Meta have made it obviously necessary.
