New level of office obnoxiousness observed: not only did colleague have a Teams meeting on speaker instead of headphones, they left their computer -- unmuted!! -- to sit with another meeting attendant three desks over to continue the meeting (also on speakers, ignoring multiple empty meeting rooms next to them). So not only a speaker meeting, but an echoed one from two computers and people speaking in-person and transmitted through Teams.

So very impressed with the high definition scans the nice photo man has sent back of my two test slides, I’m definitely getting him to do a few more of my more important ones - the bulk ones I’ll get a gadget a set up to do myself, but the ones I want big prints of, I’m definitely then taking down to him. Photo, just as an example - me in the middle (“Have the kids wear something RED, it looks good in photos!”) Me in middle, my younger sister, baby brother, unknown location.

Morning, Toots! Today is psychologist day, and sorely needed for a debrief after my Adelaide visit to family. Then we’re planning a visit to the greengrocers, because I’m loving the way the AirFryer roasts vegetables! Also hoping for some good Granny Smith apples, to have another try at apples, cored, stuffed with dried fruit, a little brown sugar and cinnamon, and wrapped in puff pastry, and baked in the air fryer. Experiments continue!

@crazybutable fair enough. But that argument no longer works for new purchasers of PHEVs in the same situation. Most PHEV owners aren’t reaping the benefit of the EV part of the vehicle, while using the ICE to haul around a flat, heavy and expensive battery most of the time.

Basically PHEVs have limited use case, and are being sold as the ‘ideal’ EV solution. They just aren’t, and owners are losing out.

I was in and out in UNDER FOUR MINUTES. (Yes, I timed it cause I was not excited about going in there on a holiday, so I decided to make it a race, LOL.)

Noticed a few weeks ago that was yet again promoting the latest season of as tales from the so-called "deadliest village" in England. Since they clearly never bothered to add anything to their Style Guide 20+ years ago the first time I pointed out that Midsomer is clearly a fictional county rather than a fictional village (and got a passing correction through), I decided to let this annoyance go (again).

This week I was quite pleased to see that they've corrected the promo to say "county" now. My fellow I salute you for your valiant efforts against this stain on all things right and proper.

Until the next season when it needs to be done yet again...
