has no mandate from the British people.

He’s curbed our right to protest.

He’s put all his energy into culture wars, not paying doctors and nurses, letting schools crumble and ensuring the industry can endanger civilisation for decades to come by granting new drilling licenses.

He takes security so ‘seriously’ he appointed Shapps to Defence and ennobled Cameron.

Britain’s ‘most dangerous’ years lie ahead, warns Sunak. It’s cheap politics from a floundering PM

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/article/2024/may/13/sunak-most-dangerous-britain-values

Comment is neither free or easy on the Gruaniad. I notice that Jenkins (a Brexit supporting unionist) failed to mention that Scots were included in Sunaks list of threats.

So much for free comment, and another reason I dropped my contribution to this SE England rag.

In a crushing blow to Rishi #Sunak, former Tory Chancellor Nadim Zahawi has announced he too is stepping down at the next election.

At the last count, he's the 61st Tory MP to announce they won't run again. More rats leaving the sinking ship... 🐀

This beautiful bank holiday, there is state-sponsored fear stalking our nation, with moral incubus failed squatter at the epicentre of it. Faced with summary arrest & abduction for following the rules, thousands have no option but to go underground. Civilised Britons must offer them assistance, as some Dutch citizens did, in another time, until the evil has been swept away.

Direction of travel of English Nationalist policy is the abolition of the State Pension altogether. The richest man in Parliament refused to rule out retirement age increase by 8 years, from 67 to 75 to pay for his Government's moral & economic bankruptcy. Pitifully inadequate as it is, you can have paid National Insurance all your working life & expect zippo back at the end of it. An outrageous repudiation of the social contract. Tory philosophy is they can tax, & give none back.
