Went out to have a couple drinks tonight with some of wifey's coworkers at this place called the Beer Research Institute, a taproom and arcade. Cool place. Had a couple local IPAs, some of the best nachos I've ever had, nice staff, music was great. I mean they were playing stuff like Descendents, Bad Religion, Misfits, wow. Wasn't expecting it. If you're ever in Phoenix area Arizona, I highly recommend the BRI.

@trode it was WILD I mean I heard Suburban Home, American Jesus, there was all kinds of other great stuff too, 80s stuff, Kate Bush.. I'm not used to liking the music when I go somewhere 😂

@Rob they really were. They had a lot of options, all beer they make themselves- see the pic. They had some stouts too, many choices - this was a 'New England IPA' and yeah, smooth and amazing. I tossed down two without even hardly noticing 😂 but then I stopped and did water and food. I could've easily done more too, they were so good.

@trendskater @Kitty @tomroberts my wife and I love both. Tough choice. My first 3 CDs I bought that same day back in 1994 included both Superunknown and Jar of Flies. Both of which are perfect and I can still play all the way through. Superunknown a perfect LP and Jar a perfect EP (the first EP in history to debut at #1 on Billboard!) and then both Laynes and Chris' tragic deaths.

I think my wife listens to AiC more (one of theirs is her ringtone 😂) but me, Soundgarden by a millimeter.

Superunknown is a skull crushing slab of genius rock-metal and it will always just enthrall me when I play it. Still VERY regularly. At least several times a year.

I've accepted that streaming services like Hulu will never give me a simple playlist option so I could just load it with my favorite episodes from my favorite shows and let it run (and not have to constantly fucking select them).

I also reserve the right to be forever annoyed about this

Some people like making drama because they're bored. You have to recognize those kinds of people, remember that about them, and avoid them if possible (or as much as possible) if you don't wanna waste your time

@jigmedatse 😂🤣🤣 right? That used to be the kiss of death as a kid. Never tell a parent you're bored, they'll put you to work! I was rarely bored. And never as an adult. I ALWAYS have stuff to do. Not even enough hours in the day.
