I would do anything to procrastinate on doing my taxes. Evidence number 3452: I put flowers in an adjacent room, I put some make-up on in the process of putting away the black kohl crayon, I'm now performing all the checks and clean-up on the office printer.

Black toner changed. Now running the printer's software update.

Printer's software is up-to-date. AND YET...
It doesn't print black text in colour mode and it prints empty pages when I print in black and white.
I'm pretty sure it's related to my laptop's software because when I print from preview.app or pages.app it fails as above, but when I make a screenshot of what I want to print and print this, the printer then prints the outline (only) of what's in black.
The result is ugly but at least content is printed.

Back upstairs with coffee.
It's no longer hot because as it was brewing, I let the dog out for his forest inspection. Then I quickly trimmed a hedge which was sprouting long baby branches next to the doghouse.
When I dumped the branches in the compost bin, I noticed a line of ants along the awning's beam, so I sprayed something to deter them from climbing onto my roof.
Where was I?

I think I just nearly escaped a fraudulent website, thanks to my bankโ€™s authorization step for a payment in Hong Kong Dollars.

I would have lost โ‚ฌ95 euros from the online sale via a probably fake Dr Scholl France website.

Fraudsters would be dumb not to go for it because Dr Scholl apparently has several different websites and the confusion is already high.

Is there a place to report those fake sites?

RIP Laurence Victoria Taranto Mercier

My mum passed away on Thursday 25 April 2024. She was found on Monday 29 April. She died in her bed, in her sleep, and didnโ€™t suffer. I donโ€™t remember when I last spoke to her. Probably over a year ago. The last time I wrote about her, 8 months ago, to put into words that I had finally given up hope to get along with her, we had stopped speaking to each other 6 or so months prior.
